Welcome to FileFlex. By accessing or using fileflex.app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
FileFlex is a free, browser-based image conversion and compression tool. All processing occurs locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or have access to any files you convert using the Service.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use FileFlex only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to process content you do not have the legal right to modify.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to scrape, mirror, or clone the Service.
- Reverse-engineer the Service for the purpose of creating a competing commercial product.
3. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce a specific result. Always keep a backup of your original files.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileFlex and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption.
5. Your Content
You retain all rights to any files you process with FileFlex. We claim no ownership over your content. Because files are processed entirely on your device, we never see or store your content.
6. Advertising
FileFlex is supported by third-party advertising (Google AdSense). Advertisements may be displayed alongside the Service. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of advertisers.
7. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The FileFlex name, logo, and site design are the property of FileFlex and its operators. You may not use them without prior written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FileFlex is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
